DANGERS NEED HELP, NOT REBUFF

Once a young boy went to a river for a bath. Unluckily he went beyond his depth and the water lifted him off his feet. Feeling that he was going to be drowned. he shouted aloud for help, "Save me ; I am going to be drowned."

A man was passing along the road just close by. He heard the shouts of the boy and rushed to the river-bank. Seeing the boy in danger, he didn't do anything to save him. On the other hand, he began to scold the boy, "You fool ! Why did you go beyond your depth after all ? pay for your carelessness. Why are you crying now ?"

The boy cried, "Good sir, do something to save my life first. You may scold me later on. If you keep scolding me and do not help me, I shall be drowned."

But the man was not wise enough to follow the point. He went on with his rebukes and the poor boy was carried away by the strong current.

NEVER BE LITTLE OTHERS' DANGERS

once a flock of sheep was grazing in a meadow. All of a sudden, a fawn (FAWN MEANS DEER) found its way in the meadow and began to graze there. Some sheep saw it and began to bleat.

Hearing the bleat, the shepherd became alert and looked at the flock closely. Catching sight of the fawn, he went up to it and lifted it into his arms. He then carried it to a butcher.

The fawn, seeing that its death was near, began to bark out of terror and struggled to be free.

The sheep saw the fawn making a fuss and rebuked it saying "why this to-do, after all? Our master often catches us like that and drags us off too. But we never make any fuss at all."

"you don't know what this to-do is for? The shepherd catches you for your wool only. But my case is quite different. He has caught me for my flesh."

NEVER MAKE LIGHT OF THE DANGER OTHERS ARE IN.
